DTDC — on the roadmap
DTDC integration for order management
Updated 2 min read
You cannot connect DTDC yet. It is on our roadmap, and everything below describes how OMS Pro is built to run a DTDC operation rather than something you can switch on today. Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Shopify, Shiprocket and Delhivery are ready to connect now — tell us you sell on DTDC and it moves up the queue.
The short answer
DTDC is on the OMS Pro roadmap: the connector is not built yet, so you cannot switch it on today. DTDC's strength for many sellers is reach into places other networks reach slowly, which usually makes it one courier among several rather than the only one — so the integration needs to sit alongside others, not replace them.. This page describes how OMS Pro is designed to handle a DTDC operation as a courier — get in touch if you sell there and we will tell you where it sits in the queue.
- Book DTDC shipments alongside your other couriers from the same screen.
- Labels generated in bulk with the rest of the day's dispatches.
- Tracking events update order status automatically.
What makes DTDC different to operate
DTDC's strength for many sellers is reach into places other networks reach slowly, which usually makes it one courier among several rather than the only one — so the integration needs to sit alongside others, not replace them.
What the DTDC connector handles
- Book DTDC shipments alongside your other couriers from the same screen.
- Labels generated in bulk with the rest of the day's dispatches.
- Tracking events update order status automatically.
Connecting it
- 1
Add your courier account
Connect your own DTDC account credentials, so your negotiated rates and service options apply.
- 2
Set your default service
Choose which service level and pickup location this courier uses by default, and when to fall back to another carrier.
- 3
Print a test label
Book one real shipment end to end before you switch the day's dispatches over. Label format problems are best found on one parcel.
- 4
Confirm tracking flows back
Check that a tracking update lands on the order, and that an RTO event routes into your returns receiving workflow rather than silently restocking.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use more than one courier at the same time?
Yes, and most sellers should. Different networks perform differently by region and weight, so orders can be booked with whichever courier suits them while all of them report back to the same order record.
How do I connect DTDC to my order management system?
Not yet — DTDC is on the roadmap and the connector is not built. When it ships it will work like the couriers already supported: add your own DTDC credentials under Settings → Integrations, choose a default service and pickup location, then book one test shipment end to end before switching your daily dispatches over. Shiprocket and Delhivery are ready to connect today.
